About the role
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and manage scalable PKI solutions and certificate lifecycle management strategies.
- Lead automation efforts to streamline PKI processes and deploy optimized workflows.
- Collaborate with technical leads and product owners to ensure robust security and seamless operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with PKI systems across the enterprise.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert in PKI architecture and operations.
- Monitor and maintain PKI systems to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical security infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience in PKI architecture and certificate lifecycle management tools (e.g., Keyfactor Command, Venafi, EJBCA, Digicert, or HashiCorp Vault).
- Hands-on experience with HSM appliances and cloud KMS services.
- Experience managing global systems across on-premise and cloud ecosystems (AWS and Azure).
- Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency with monitoring tools, specifically Splunk.
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP.
- Experience driving innovation within enterprise security frameworks.
