Lead Piping Estimator

Responsibilities

• Develop complete, accurate, and competitive cost estimates for large and complex energy and industrial construction projects.
• Supervise estimators in the preparation of estimates and review work from other groups or JV partners.
• Review owner plans and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope and construction sequencing.
• Prepare pursuit win and procurement strategies in conjunction with Business Development and Senior Operations staff.
• Conduct site investigations to identify unusual conditions or potential problems prior to forming an operations plan.
• Address major technical problems encountered during the bid preparation process.
• Consult with owners regarding design, rates, schedules, and other discovered bid preparation issues.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering or Construction-related technology, or extensive related work experience.
• 7 to 10 years of related experience in energy construction or operations, including estimating experience.
• Experience with build and self-perform construction models.
• Strong aptitude for various estimating software systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills.
