Lead Piercer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the piercing customer journey from greeting and styling to transaction and aftercare education
• Manage all aspects of the piercing studio, including inventory and equipment ordering
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including biohazard waste management and studio cleanliness
• Ensure legal compliance regarding identification, waivers, and local piercing laws
• Provide expert styling and product suggestions for ear stacks and jewelry
• Lead by example on the sales floor to uphold Mejuri's selling standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with needle piercing
• Experience working with threadless jewelry
• Up to date with First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications
• Experience working with an autoclave or statim
• Ability to meet local requirements for practitioner registration and vaccinations
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols for piercing procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Experience selling products at a fast-growing company
