Lead Piercer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the piercing customer journey from greeting and styling to transaction and aftercare education
• Manage all aspects of the piercing studio, including inventory and equipment ordering
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including sharps and biohazard waste management
• Ensure legal compliance by verifying identification, requirements, and waivers
• Style and suggest jewelry products to help clients design ear stacks
• Build appointment occupancy through brand promotion and education
• Lead by example on the sales floor by upholding Mejuri's selling standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with needle piercing
• Experience working with threadless jewelry
• Up to date with First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications
• Experience working with an autoclave or statim
• Ability to meet local requirements for practitioner registration and vaccinations
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols for piercing
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
