About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical work for children using DIR/Floortime principles
- Carry out home or community-based sessions tailored to specific child goals
- Coordinate care with other clinicians through prompt note writing and video review
- Attend IFSPs for Early Birds clients and assist in writing measurable gross motor goals
- Administer physical therapy tests and assessments and update progress reports
- Participate in staff supervision, trainings, and planning meetings
- Attend supervision meetings with the Early Birds Director to discuss case progress
- Utilize company software and follow administrative protocols
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in California
- Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Ability to provide in-home services
