Lead or Senior Test Design and Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the design, analysis, test, and sustainment of the C-17 Flight Control System.
• Ensure technical compliance of project statements of work and develop integration plans.
• Create and conduct subsystem development and system-level tests in lab simulation facilities.
• Perform flight test validation testing and document findings.
• Collaborate with systems focals and suppliers to determine root causes of anomalies and mature solutions.
• Support Lab/Flight Test and Air Force customer meetings, which may require domestic travel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with aircraft systems including avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, electrical, or integrated vehicle management systems.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team or project.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with air vehicle systems.
• Experience with military or commercial aircraft programs.
• Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience working within a matrixed reporting organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
