About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure successful design, manufacturing, and testing of the PAC-3 Seeker subsystem and circuit card assemblies
- Act as the technical authority over the development, design, production, and test of the assigned PAC-3 Seeker
- Establish a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management, and rapid issue resolution
- Lead requirement, function, and interface development for the PAC-3 Seeker
- Oversee product design in support of development, production, and sustainment changes
- Present technical data at Design Reviews, product Acceptance and Qualification Reviews, and Delivery Reviews
- Drive coordination between the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Program technical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in development or production environments
- Experience executing engineering tasks in support of program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
- Fundamental knowledge of radar systems, seeker architectures, or seeker CONOPs
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Experience supporting or managing engineering release processes and mentoring early career engineers
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues
- Familiarity with technical proposal development
- Experience with test equipment design and validation
