Lead Operator, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment operation and visually inspect products during manufacturing processes
• Coordinate and oversee the work of other operators, acting as a backup to the Team Leader
• Assist with the setup and running of production equipment
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, and Log Books
• Perform first-level reviews of Batch Production Records prior to Quality review
• Troubleshoot process and technical line issues in collaboration with Technical Operators
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment to maintain an orderly work area
• Perform training for new personnel and provide oversight on process-related tasks
• Conduct calibrations on scales, line meters, coating ovens, and other equipment
• Provide input into investigations, including identifying root causes and corrective actions

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of experience working in a GMP regulated facility
