Lead Operator, Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, testing, and operations of the Engineering Test Unit (ETU)
• Develop procedures and training material for the ETU and Salt Production Facility
• Troubleshoot equipment, electrical, and instrumentation issues
• Conduct Pre-Job briefs to various stakeholders
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams to understand test scope and hazards
• Operate SCADA/HMI/Control Boards, high temperature pilot systems, pumps, valves, and compressors
• Perform plant rounds to validate equipment operation
• Prioritize safety for self and others

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field
• 7+ years of experience in an operations environment
• Experience with commissioning and operations of complex plants
• Experience writing, revising, and executing formal procedures
• Expertise in NDT methods (ultrasonic, radiography, eddy current, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high temperature test systems
• Experience with molten salt applications
