About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution across various operations business functions in a regulated medical device and biotech environment.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for complex, cross-functional, and multi-site programs to ensure product availability and compliance.
- Act as a change leader for new product introductions, system implementations (ERP, planning tools), and process transformations.
- Proactively identify and manage cross-functional risks, dependencies, and constraints impacting supply continuity, cost, and quality.
- Design and lead integrated governance structures, operating cadences, and performance dashboards to provide visibility into program health.
- Deliver outcome-focused updates to senior leadership regarding risks, decisions, and recommended actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain organizations.
- 3+ years of experience in a biotech manufacturing facility with cGMP, FDA, ISO13485, and LDT standards.
- Proven experience leading projects and/or project teams within a matrix management organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
- Ability to travel up to 50% between local sites and 10% for overnight/weekend travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering) or Business Administration.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Experience with qPCR or NGS assay development, design transfer, or product support.
- Experience with supply chain or operations ERP systems.
