Lead Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Social Care Occupational Therapists
• Provide regular supervision, guidance, and professional development support
• Work directly with children and families to assess needs and deliver expert clinical advice
• Recommend appropriate equipment, home adaptations, and environmental modifications
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and external partner agencies to deliver coordinated, child‑focused interventions

Requirements

• Experience working with children with disabilities within Social Care
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to lead, inspire, and support a team of Occupational Therapists
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working across service boundaries
• Child‑centred approach and commitment to strengths‑based support
