Lead Obstetric Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed obstetric ultrasound examinations
• Interpret results and provide comprehensive reports
• Lead and support a team of sonographers
• Ensure adherence to best practices and protocols
• Train and mentor junior staff
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetric Sonography
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in obstetric sonography
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical and technical expertise in obstetric ultrasound
• Commitment to continuous professional development
