Lead Network Security Specialist Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical advisor implementing enterprise network security solutions and emerging technologies.
• Lead the engineering, installation, maintenance, and administration of infrastructure for Critical Infrastructure.
• Design, plan, and implement network changes to improve security and support business requirements.
• Maintain regulatory compliance under NERC/CIP guidelines and ensure high-quality security controls for SCADA systems.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and technical mentoring for team members.
• Lead functional teams, projects, and contractors to deliver technical solutions and operational duties.

Requirements

• MS Technical Degree with 5+ years of experience, BS with 8+ years, or AS with 12+ years of technical experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working with infrastructure solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Extensive experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls (Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISE, Firepower, ASA).
• Operational experience with Next-Generation firewalls including Checkpoint and Palo Alto.
• Strong Routing and Switching expertise (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, VPC, etc.).
• Knowledge of NAC, Micro-segmentation, SAML, PKI, and authentication systems (RADIUS, TACACS+, SSO, LDAP).
• Experience architecting in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with packet capture software (Wireshark, tcpdump).
• Experience with Citrix Netscalers in High Availability environments.
• Experience with Cisco ISE distributed deployments and Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and NERC/CIP compliance.
• Experience using the Solarwinds Orion platform.
