About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect a scalable network observability platform using best practices for reliability, availability, and fault tolerance
  • Develop schemas for source data transformation and standardization to Zeek format
  • Build custom analytics algorithms to deliver intelligent, predictive, and insightful data insights
  • Design and implement modern data ingestion pipelines from Network Service Provider (NSP) monitoring systems
  • Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to translate user needs into technical requirements
  • Test APIs for responsiveness and efficiency while identifying and resolving bugs or bottlenecks
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for APIs and system integrations
  • Lead and coach development teams as necessary
  • Apply engineering principles to production management and automation to enhance workflow productivity

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, C, C++, Java, PHP, JavaScript, or ReactJS
  • Strong experience with backend and API technologies including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Kafka, and Airflow
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices and Distributed Systems
  • Expertise in Cloud and DevOps tools: AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
  • Deep understanding of Data and AI technologies: Machine Learning, LLM, Generative AI, and Data Engineering
  • Solid knowledge of Systems and Networking: Network Telemetry, TCP/IP, and Linux Systems
  • Mastery of Software Architecture, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
  • Experience with Observability tools such as the ELK Stack and Grafana
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full SDLC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of reliability and production management for high-availability services
  • Risk-aware mindset with knowledge of operational risks in financial institutions
  • Experience with Zeek Network Security Monitoring Tool and OpenTelemetry
  • Knowledge of NLP, Vector Search, and Large Language Model frameworks like LangChain
