Lead Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, design, and implementation of core DDI services including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP.
• Provide technical expertise and second-level support for complex network technologies and security products.
• Design, document, and test sophisticated network solutions and hardware reconfigurations.
• Manage the execution of internal projects, service improvement initiatives, and capacity forecasting.
• Investigate and resolve high-impact incidents related to DDI infrastructure.
• Collaborate with automation teams to develop features and create technical engineering documentation.
• Participate in a periodic 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems (including BIND, Microsoft DNS, or ISC).
• Proven experience managing top-tier DDI products such as Bluecat in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, Ethernet, UDP, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Experience with monitoring and management tools like Splunk, Grafana, or Syslog.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technology discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Anycast and NTP services in large-scale environments.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JIRA, GitHub, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Kanban principles.
• Industry certifications such as DDIP or other core DDI certifications.
