Lead Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support purpose-built networks
• Serve as technical leader for the network engineering and operations team
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and Tier 3 escalation support
• Oversee the design, engineering, and deployment of business unit network solutions
• Manage quality service delivery from vendors and third parties
• Perform risk management regarding project oversight and solution development
• Drive adherence to technical standards and propose new technologies

Requirements

• 7+ years of technology evaluation, problem resolution, and project management experience
• Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, Internet, and WiFi
• Experience in Wide area and Local Area network design and configuration
• Knowledge of film entertainment, hospitality, video distribution, multicast, and broadcast
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable field

Preferred Qualifications

• Core vendor specific certifications (Cisco, Arista, or Palo Alto)
