Lead MRI Technologist

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and management of all MRI department clinical, technical, and administrative tasks
• Adhere to established Atria MRI protocols and imaging techniques
• Prepare and position patients correctly for specific examinations
• Review exams for quality, completeness, and critical findings
• Maintain records of daily quality assurance, preventative maintenance, and calibrations
• Manage inventory levels for MRI department supplies
• Supervise MRI department safety standards according to ACR, DOH, and ARRT
• Troubleshoot Radiology IT issues with Athena, Ambra, and Power share platforms
• Schedule physicist appointments for equipment testing

Requirements

• 5-10 years of MRI experience
• Previous experience with Siemens 3.0T Systems
• Graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
• ARRT (MR) Certification in good standing
• California State License (CRT)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Yearly MRI Safety Certification (Level 2)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience
• MRSO/MRSE certification from American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety
• IV certification
