Lead MRI Technologist

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight and management of all MRI department clinical, technical, and administrative tasks
• Adhere to established Atria MRI protocols and imaging techniques
• Prepare and position patients correctly for specific examinations
• Review exams for quality, completeness, and communicate critical findings to physicians
• Maintain records of daily quality assurance, preventative maintenance, and calibrations
• Manage inventory levels for MRI department supplies
• Manage MRI Department according to ACR, DOH, and ARRT standards
• Schedule physicist appointments and troubleshoot Radiology IT issues
• Perform MRI procedures for patients of all age groups with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Previous experience with Siemens 3.0T Systems
• 5-10 years of experience, with supervisory experience preferred
• Graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
• Registration with Florida Dept. of Health as a licensed Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT MR certification
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• MRI safety certification level 2

Preferred Qualifications

• MRSO/MRSE certification from American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety
• IV certification
