Lead Mobile Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Lead a switch crew by assigning tasks and assisting in the completion of all duties to meet deadlines
• Operate multiple pieces of mobile equipment, including lift trucks with a capacity greater than 55,000 lbs
• Operate a trackmobile or switch engine to move materials and products between workstations and storage locations
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper identification of all parts and materials
• Train lower-level operators and maintain high quality standards
• Follow all safety rules and practices, potentially participating in safety committees or initiatives

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of related experience in mobile equipment operation
• Proven experience operating lift trucks with a capacity exceeding 55,000 lbs
• Experience operating a trackmobile or switch engine
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and assign tasks effectively
