Lead Mobile Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor development teams
• Act as the lead engineer on high-profile public-facing mobile and tablet applications
• Consume and create APIs and web services
• Work within agile teams using Scrum methodologies
• Implement clean and semantic HTML5 and CSS3

Requirements

• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
• 5+ years of hand-coding JavaScript
• 5+ years of experience with Java in an enterprise setting
• 10+ years of experience creating databases, writing queries, and stored procedures
• Proficiency in OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
• Extensive experience with Spring and security focus
• Mandatory experience with MySQL and Oracle
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with Agile and Scrum

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Grails
• Experience with paired programming
