Lead Merchant, Training Mens Apparel

Responsibilities

• Build end-in-mind Men’s Training apparel assortments across Global and Geo markets rooted in athlete mission and consumer segmentation.
• Manage Men’s Training Apparel Assortment Architecture via line-planning and franchise lifecycle management.
• Drive sustainable growth by meeting and exceeding style, revenue, and margin targets.
• Manage key financial levers including productivity, margin, IMU/SMU, and product forecasting.
• Partner with Geo and Account teams to balance global points of view with channel-specific nuances.
• Identify whitespace opportunities and competitive gaps to shape future franchise creation and innovation pipelines.
• Mentor teammates and drive alignment across cross-functional partners in Product, Design, Planning, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising or a related field (or a suitable combination of education and experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, or Product Management.
• Proven ability to set strategic vision and translate consumer and business insights into compelling assortments.
• Experience in line planning, assortment strategy, and seasonal readiness.
• Strong communication, collaborative leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and operational rigor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Apparel merchandising.
• Experience monitoring and applying trend insights to serve the consumer.
