Lead Medication Technician

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to residents and oversee care needs in the Memory Care Wing
• Communicate resident changes and medication updates to the Resident Care Director
• Ensure the department remains Title XXII compliant at all times
• Follow all established medication guidelines and training protocols
• Pull, pour, and assist residents with medication administration
• Ensure resident care is performed per assessment and properly documented
• Assist with med-room tasks and manage resident emergencies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Medication Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Previous supervisor or management experience
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a post-offer fingerprint background check
• Ability to pass an employment physical
