Lead Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic floor operations to ensure smooth coordination among Medical Assistants and Patient Engagement Specialists
• Direct staff in prioritizing clinic needs to maintain optimal patient care and workflow
• Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and ongoing support to clinical staff
• Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations to foster continuous improvement
• Resolve patient concerns and escalations with empathy and efficiency

Requirements

• Medical Assistant (MA) certificate
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and billing software
• Proficiency with insurance carrier portals and spreadsheets
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 10 or more individuals
