Lead Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define various rotating equipment and equipment packages
• Coordinate engineering work across different disciplines
• Act as lead designer in equipment procurement processes
• Perform delivery supervision at manufacturing machine shops and client sites
• Work on diverse domestic and international industrial projects

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineer degree
• At least five years of experience in rotating equipment expert roles in industrial or machine shop environments
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of design standards and directives (EN, ASME, API, Machinery Directive)
• Understanding of hazardous substance pump structures and technical requirements
• Fluency in Finnish and good command of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PED and ATEX requirements
• Experience in compressor definition, installation supervision, or procurement involvement
• Experience in mixer definition
• Willingness to travel to work sites
