Lead MDM Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and mature the Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro environments, including Autopilot, DEP/ABM, and configuration profiles.
• Architect and maintain the integration between Intune and JAMF to enforce a unified security posture across Windows and macOS.
• Design and deploy "Zero Touch" provisioning workflows to ensure new hires are productive immediately upon unboxing devices.
• Build and enforce device compliance policies, including encryption, OS currency, and Conditional Access via Entra ID.
• Partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities, deploy emergency patches, and manage security agents like SentinelOne and Microsoft Defender.
• Manage the full device lifecycle from enrollment and provisioning to patching and retirement.
• Automate management tasks, reporting, and remediation using PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Handle Tier 3 escalations and develop documentation/runbooks to enable Helpdesk self-service.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale endpoints.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, compliance policies, Autopatch, Entra ID).
• Deep expertise in JAMF Pro (DEP, Self Service, JAMF Connect, smart groups).
• Strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager (ABM) and the Apple device lifecycle.
• Solid experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting for automation.
• Understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and modern identity-driven security models.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified (Intune/Endpoint Manager), JAMF 200/300/370, or Apple Certified.
• Experience with Endpoint Privilege Management tools and EDR solutions.
