Lead MBSE Systems Engineer (Space Systems)

Responsibilities

• Support concept of operation development and requirements analysis, decomposition, and generation for space systems
• Develop and implement MBSE methodologies and frameworks to support engineering projects
• Conduct systems modeling and simulation to analyze system performance and validate requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and alignment of MBSE practices
• Provide leadership and technical guidance in the application of MBSE across the organization
• Conduct training and mentoring for engineering staff on MBSE tools and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 9+ years of experience
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years of experience
• 13+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of experience in MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect
• Experience in a systems engineering role related to aerospace systems
• Ability to obtain a US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or similar certification
• Experience with SysML (Systems Modeling Language)
• Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in space systems
