About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide manufacturing engineering activities for the Flow Assembly & Testing Cell, including developing shop routings and procedures for gas turbines and reciprocating compressors.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing process safety, quality, capability, and productivity.
  • Design tools, workstations, and shop fixtures, and perform capability analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to production teams on the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers across other Baker Hughes sites to leverage best practices and promote innovation.
  • Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) resolution and propose technical solutions to cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in the integration of digital transformation and smart factory initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for the assembly and testing of gas turbines and/or reciprocating compressors.
  • Experience in tooling and workstation design.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Italian.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically working with gas turbine products.
  • Experience working within a matrix organization.
