Lead Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours
• Perform apartment make-ready processes to prepare units for new occupancy
• Execute repairs involving HVAC, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Maintain property grounds, including sprinkler systems, pool chemical levels, and common areas
• Conduct interior and exterior preventive maintenance inspections
• Supervise sub-contractors and train subordinate maintenance personnel
• Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and accurate record-keeping
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency standby schedules

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade
• EPA certification (refrigerant, transition, and recovery)
• Possession of a basic set of hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and auto insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work weekends and handle on-call duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification in a relevant field
• Bilingual skills (Spanish)
