Lead Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours
• Perform HVAC, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs
• Manage the apartment make-ready process to prepare units for new residents
• Maintain pool chemical levels, cleanliness, and sprinkler systems
• Conduct interior and exterior preventive maintenance inspections
• Supervise subcontractors and subordinate maintenance personnel
• Maintain accurate records for work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance
• Handle on-call duties and participate in emergency standby schedules

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade
• EPA certification (refrigerant, transition, and recovery)
• Possession of a basic set of hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and auto insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in Spanish
• Technical Certification in a relevant trade
