Lead Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours
• Perform HVAC, light electrical, and light plumbing repairs
• Execute apartment make-ready processes to prepare units for new residents
• Maintain property grounds, including sprinkler systems, pool chemical levels, and common areas
• Conduct interior and exterior preventive maintenance inspections
• Supervise subcontractors and train subordinate maintenance personnel
• Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and work order records
• Participate in "on-call" duties and emergency standby schedules for evenings and weekends

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade
• EPA certification (refrigerant, transition, and recovery)
• Possession of a basic set of hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and auto insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification in a relevant trade
• Bilingual skills in Spanish
