Lead Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including electrical, fire suppression, and HVAC equipment for data centers and critical spaces
• Provide coverage for BMS alerts and notifications to ensure effective service delivery
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire suppression systems and electrical power systems, such as UPS and generators
• Execute various maintenance tasks including finish carpentry, painting, flooring, and door repairs
• Manage modular furniture systems and installations
• Ensure vendor performance meets contractual and quality requirements
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, inspections, and permits
• Participate in an on-call rotation and available for occasional weekend projects

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• EPA Section 608 certification or Journeyman license preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within commercial properties or data center environments
• Proven track record in multi-trade maintenance and facility operations
