About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including electrical, fire suppression, and HVAC equipment for data centers and critical spaces
- Provide coverage for BMS alerts and notifications to ensure effective service delivery
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire suppression systems and electrical power systems, such as UPS and generators
- Execute various maintenance tasks including finish carpentry, painting, flooring, and door repairs
- Manage modular furniture systems and installations
- Ensure vendor performance meets contractual and quality requirements
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, inspections, and permits
- Participate in an on-call rotation and available for occasional weekend projects
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical circuits, and plumbing principles
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- EPA Section 608 certification or Journeyman license preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within commercial properties or data center environments
- Proven track record in multi-trade maintenance and facility operations
