Lead Maintenance Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer-driven electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems including PLCs, HMIs, PID controllers, electric drives, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Lead emergency repair requests through diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resumption of operations.
• Execute preventative and scheduled maintenance plans, including material and parts planning.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure maintenance plans remain accurate and aligned with manufacturing needs.
• Document all planned and performed work within the computerized maintenance management system.
• Evaluate equipment operation to conduct on-line adjustments and order necessary replacement tools or fixtures.
• Maintain strict compliance with all quality requirements and documentation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field preferred).
• 3-5 years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
• Working knowledge of PLC/HMI and control systems.
• Experience working with 120, 208/230, and 480VAC electrical voltages.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electro-mechanical equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device manufacturing or other FDA-regulated industries.
• Proficiency in MS-DOS programming languages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Demonstrated ability to teach and lead team members through technical decision-making.
