Lead – Maintenance & Projects

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance and technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to budget and schedules.
• Plan and coordinate annual and multi-year maintenance programs to improve plant reliability and operational efficiency.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement preventive and corrective measures to minimize production downtime.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and work orders, optimizing resource utilization in alignment with plant priorities.
• Manage stocks of supplies, parts, and equipment required for maintenance activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements (QHSE) and ISO standards.
• Provide technical advice, training, and support to operational and technical staff.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to propose improvements to plant machinery and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Alternatively, a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven expertise in predictive, preventive, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
• Strong technical skills in PLC troubleshooting, industrial automation, and electrical/electronic systems diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and maintenance MIS systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
