Lead Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement activities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the shipping and receiving team.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring documentation and inventory accuracy.
• Schedule and communicate with carriers, freight providers, and drivers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper transaction processing.
• Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in shipping, receiving, and transportation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading, training, or coordinating the work of others.
• Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment involving standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience conducting performance reviews and workforce planning.
