Lead Loader, Shipping and Receiving

Responsibilities

• Guide and oversee production team activities including machinery operation and inventory organization
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
• Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading
• Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment
• Unload and check items against freight bills, packing lists, or shipping notices
• Provide on-the-job direction to new shipping and warehouse employees
• Complete required computer documentation including BOLs, LTLs, and Load Tickets
• Assist with inventory counts and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid Driver License
• Experience loading manufacturing or construction materials
• Ability to operate a forklift and use power hand tools
• Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures, protractors, and micrometers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
