Lead Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide expert administration in a Red Hat Linux environment, ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and security
• Support High Performance Compute Cluster capabilities
• Utilize SCAP and STIG to ensure systems are compliant with security policies and best practices
• Perform security assessments and implement risk management processes in accordance with NIST, NISPOM, and RMF standards
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems

Requirements

• Current/active US Secret security clearance (with ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI polygraph)
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 7 years of experience, or 13 years of equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in Red Hat Linux systems administration
• Experience with SCAP and STIG compliance frameworks
• DOD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+)

Preferred Qualifications

• High Performance Compute Cluster skillset
• Experience with automated deployment and management tools
• Advanced certifications and training in Linux systems and cybersecurity
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
