Lead Line Operator/Lead Extrusion Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Supervisor in monitoring production processes, equipment, and personnel
• Communicate standards for process times, settings, and specifications to ensure quality
• Track performance results and provide feedback to staff and the Extrusion Supervisor
• Perform routine checks of equipment, materials, and product
• Monitor extruder operating parameters and support production troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment through 5S audits and safety policy adherence
• Train operators on equipment, procedures, and adjustments
• Assist with production work and operating lines as needed

Requirements

• 1 year of equipment or machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to stand and walk long distances for 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift and carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs multiple times per shift
• Ability to use various hand tools including electric saws, hammers, and banding equipment
