Lead Line Operator

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Supervisor in monitoring production processes, equipment, and personnel to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality
• Communicate standards for process time, settings, and specifications for optimum output
• Monitor operating parameters of extruders and provide feedback to the Extrusion Supervisor
• Perform ongoing checks of equipment, materials, and products, taking corrective action as required
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment via 5S audits and comply with all safety policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems on the production line
• Train operators on equipment usage, procedures, and adjustments
• Complete production work as needed, including running a production line

Requirements

• At least 1 year of equipment or machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (Bilingual is a plus)
• Ability to stand and walk long distances on the plant floor for 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs multiple times per shift
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, reaching, squatting, and bending
• Capability to wear required PPE (eyes, ears, feet, etc.) for the entire shift
