Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of veterinary technicians and assistants
• Train, mentor, and onboard new technicians and assistants on clinic protocols and procedures
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Oversee and direct daily clinic floor traffic to maintain organized and efficient operations
• Address staff concerns, performance issues, and conflicts in collaboration with the Practice Manager
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and medical protocols
• Collaborate with veterinarians to support optimal patient care and positive client experiences
• Assist with inventory management and maintenance of medical equipment
• Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician or assistant
• Proficiency in veterinary clinical and surgical support skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
