About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a leader in local- and wide-area networking, providing advice and guidance to others
- Act as a technical expert on project teams, providing direction and alternatives for new and existing services
- Provide insight into cutting-edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities
- Consult with engineers, team leads, and customer stakeholders on requirements and technical direction
- Provide deep expertise on BGP, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, SudeoWire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf, and BGP Peering
Requirements
- US Citizenship required
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
- High School/GED + 11 years of experience, or Associates + 9 years, or Bachelors + 7 years, or Masters + 5 years, or PhD + 3 years
- IAT II certification (or industry equivalent)
- CCNP or CCIE certification (or industry equivalent)
- Experience in Information Systems Architecture and Telecommunications Systems Design
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, or NetScout
