Lead Kitting Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize kitting and material handling processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Identify root causes of material discrepancies, shortages, and quality issues
• Handle critical builds and complex multi-level kits requiring advanced problem-solving
• Serve as an advanced user and problem solver in the ERP system (e.g., Infor CloudSuite/Syteline)
• Coach and mentor L1 associates on kitting procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping to address material challenges
• Transport packaged kits and finished goods safely using forklifts and material-handling equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling
• Proven track record of process improvement and operational problem-solving
• Strong ERP system proficiency (Infor CloudSuite/Syteline or similar)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
