Lead Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development life cycle of cloud-based enterprise applications, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build scalable, high-performance systems using REST/SOAP web services, API Gateways, and RDBMS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while conducting thorough code reviews.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, including production support and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, DevOps, Product, and Business teams using Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience building scalable enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL database.
• Knowledge of AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience with microservices design and implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Familiarity with Angular web technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Knowledge of the energy industry and related software systems.
• Experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
