Lead Java Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of greenfield applications from the ground up
• Implement robust backend systems using Spring Boot and modern Java versions
• Apply advanced architectural patterns including Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and CQRS
• Drive performance engineering efforts by identifying challenges and implementing scalable solutions
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, or GitHub Actions

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Java (versions 17, 21, or 25)
• Deep experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, REST APIs, and Spring Batch
• Proven track record of implementing Clean and Hexagonal Architecture patterns
• Experience with Performance Engineering and solving complex scalability issues
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of application hosting environments and deployment strategies
• Experience with Kubernetes and load balancing
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
