Responsibilities

• Participate in designing software solutions from scratch
• Be accountable for delivery, scalability, readability, quality and maintainability of projects
• Write high quality code incorporating software best practices and unit tests
• Simplify complex projects, systems, services and processes
• Train and mentor mid-level and junior developers and review their code
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Attend regular meetings with management and stakeholders for brainstorming and updates

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years of experience in Java with Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security)
• 2+ years of experience in architecture and design for large-scale web and mobile applications
• 2+ years of experience working on Unix or Linux platforms
• B.E., B.Tech or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong understanding of OOP, algorithms, and data structures
• Solid background in design patterns, system design, and TDD
• Familiarity with distributed systems and complex web applications (HTML, CSS, JS/AJAX/JQuery)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the eCommerce domain
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, WAF, VPC, Cloudfront)
• Proficiency in Python or Bash Shell scripting
• Experience with Ansible or other orchestration tools for CI/CD
• Mobile App development experience (preferably Flutter)
• Frontend framework experience (Angular or ReactJS)
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch or Solr
• Understanding of database architecture and management
