Lead, IT Systems Administration

Responsibilities

• Manage security and compliance within a classified, high-security environment
• Perform system administration, including provisioning, installation, and configuration of hardware and software
• Maintain network optimization, uptime, and overall system performance
• Handle incident response, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
• Provide detailed administration and technical documentation
• Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and government audit teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent experience as specified)
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in network or systems administration
• Advanced understanding of Windows/Linux administration, Active Directory, virtualization, and network protocols
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Security+ certification or equivalent industry certification (e.g., CISSP, MCSA, RHCSA)

Preferred Qualifications

• TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
• CISSP certification
• Experience supporting multi-program or mission-critical defense systems
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and system accreditation
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
