Lead IT Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior escalation point for security events across SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and network security tools
• Lead cyber incident response activities including triage, containment, investigation, and root cause analysis
• Oversee day-to-day security operations and threat detection capabilities
• Lead the vulnerability management programme across infrastructure, cloud, and applications
• Conduct security assessments of new solutions, infrastructure changes, and cloud deployment
• Maintain and enhance core security technologies including SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, and email security
• Mentor and support the development of junior Security Analysts

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in IT security, cyber operations, or SOC analysis
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and infrastructure hardening
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Proven experience in responding to and remediating cyber security incidents
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or CIS Controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, AZ-500, CCNA Security, or CEH
• Experience working within structured SOC environments
• Exposure to enterprise cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructures
