Lead iOS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain Rogo’s iOS application using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
• Establish and refine mobile development practices including planning, testing, releasing, and monitoring
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and domain experts
• Own major product features from concept to launch
• Work closely with users and Customer Success to iterate quickly and ship improvements
• Contribute to the overall architecture and direction of mobile and frontend platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong command of Swift, SwiftUI (iOS 16+), and UIKit
• Experience building polished, high-performance apps with a focus on UX
• Proficiency with concurrency, threading, and performance optimizations
• Ability to craft elegant interfaces and reusable, testable components
• Self-starter comfortable in fast-paced, high-ownership environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with REST APIs, gRPC, or Server-Sent-Events
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure
• Experience deploying apps in an enterprise context (Microsoft Intune, enterprise App Store)
• Previous experience at a fast-growing startup
• Background at a design-forward product company
• Strong interest in AI and modern mobile workflows
