Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Instrumentation & Control (I&C) engineering activities for the IA/PA Upgrade Project
• Review FEED and EPC deliverables including P&IDs, C&E matrices, and instrument indices
• Integrate compressor UCP panels with existing ADNOC systems such as ABB DCS (800xA) and Rockwell ESD
• Define signal mapping and communication protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP and Ethernet
• Liaise with OEMs and vendors for compressor, dryer, and control systems
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and PHSER workshops
• Support loop checking, function tests, and C&E testing during commissioning
• Maintain instrument interface registers and system interconnection diagrams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering
• 15 years of EPC Oil & Gas I&C experience
• Minimum 5 years in ADNOC Offshore brownfield projects
• ADNOC Offshore approval or eligibility
• Strong background in compressor package control and automation integration
• Proficiency with ABB DCS (800xA), Rockwell ESD, and GE Fanuc/Emerson F&G
• Experience with SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) or Aveva Instrument

Preferred Qualifications

• Functional Safety (SIL) and Hazard Study training
• PMP or equivalent certification
