Lead Instructor Work Readiness Program

Responsibilities

• Create relationships with referral sources to recruit interns for the Project SEARCH program
• Develop classroom work readiness activities and monthly schedules based on employability skills curriculum
• Facilitate Employment Planning Meetings with interns, families, and agency personnel
• Identify and implement internship sites within host businesses to build marketable skills
• Supervise and support the Project SEARCH skills instructor
• Coordinate and attend scheduled life plans and staff action plan meetings
• Use assessment tools like Vocfit to evaluate intern progress and identify skill development needs
• Maintain records in the Project SEARCH member portal including internship experiences and employment outcomes

Requirements

• Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 years working with people with disabilities
• Experience with program design or curriculum development
• Two years of customer service and project coordination experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and present to groups
• Experience interacting with high-level management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HR or training
