Lead Installer, Turfgrass

Responsibilities

• Prepare and grade grounds for turf installation
• Lay turf using necessary equipment and tools
• Apply fertilizer, pesticide treatments, and top dressing
• Perform regular watering and irrigation maintenance
• Repair or replace turf as necessary
• Assist customers with turfgrass selection and installation
• Provide guidance on basic turfgrass maintenance
• Conduct professional needs analysis and record customer information
• Represent the company at trade shows and meetings

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in business or sales experience
• Experience with turfgrass sod and seed in a retail setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in direct sunlight and various weather conditions
• Willingness to travel up to 90%
